Frequently Asked Questions

Our food tours includes 3-6 stops for delicious small bites, adding up to a full meal. There may be more or less food depending on your requested timing. As a rule of thumb, our daytime tours are more casual and feature more food, and our evening tours are more upscale and feature more booze.

Yes, all of our food tours include alcohol in the price. We also offer delicious, refreshing mocktails to anyone who’d prefer one.

Yes! Non-drinking guests will enjoy refreshing alcohol-free mocktails and drinks paired with delicious food.

We are happy to arrange transportation or pick-up, and take that task off of your plate! This option is included in some of our corporate tour packages and is an added fee. Please let us know you’ll be needing transportation during our discovery call or in the form below.

Yes, we can accommodate group rate discounts for large groups over 30 people.

We run tours every day of the week except for Monday, when most restaurants in Louisville are closed.

Please get in touch with your schedule needs and what you’re looking for and we’ll check with our restaurant partners to see if they are willing to make special accommodations for your group, and let you know what customized tour options we can offer.

Yes! We work closely with several fantastic event spaces that are conveniently located adjacent to our food tours. We can book a meeting space for your group and even arrange for our tour to begin or end there.

Yes, though it may take some extra finagling on our part (but don’t worry, we’ll handle all of that for you). Let’s discuss to create a solution that will fit your group’s needs!

For our walking food tours, we find that the experience is best when capped at a smaller size, so groups larger than 25 may be split into smaller groups.

That said, we can partner with event spaces to offer other kinds of experiences for larger groups. Please get in touch and let us know how we can design the perfect event for you!

Yes, with advanced notice we’ll make all necessary arrangements to ensure all of your guests will enjoy a delicious meal! Please let us know ASAP if anyone in your group has food allergies such as gluten-free or celiac, vegan, or dairy-free.

Our tours run rain, snow or shine, but we do cancel for severe weather such as lightning, tornado warnings, strong winds or hail – anything that would endanger a pedestrian walking outdoors.

That said, please don’t panic if you’re seeing inclement weather in the forecast a few days out! Weather in the finicky Ohio River Valley can be difficult to predict, so we wait until an hour before a tour is set to begin to examine radar and make a call that will ensure everyone’s safety. Due to our position in the Ohio River Valley, storms that are heading our way often skip over us entirely, are complete non-events, or pass through quickly. We have only had to cancel an entire tour for severe weather once or twice.

Often during our tours, we are able to simply stay inside eating and drinking while a storm passes overhead, and then direct our guides to continue the tour once radar determines it is safe to do so. Your guests will enjoy an extra cocktail on us and end your tour a little later than expected!

In the rare event that a tour is cancelled entirely, you will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.

For corporate groups, we offer customized versions of our tours that are tailored to be the perfect team-building experience. They are not the same as our public tours, and not all of our public tours are available as private experiences!
